Beond, the first-ever network of psychedelic therapy clinics specializing in ibogaine treatment for addiction and trauma, announced today that its first guests have completed treatment at the company’s Mexico-based facility. More than 20 clients have reported success in treating a variety of conditions, including addiction and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as for non-therapeutic purposes such as self-improvement, personal and spiritual growth.

Beond provides a unique five-phase treatment model called Insight-Oriented Ibogaine, which includes preparation, pre-treatment care, ibogaine treatment, and post-treatment and long term aftercare plans. The model supports each client’s specific needs and intentions by combining leading medical and mental health professionals, beautiful natural surroundings, and world-class ibogaine-assisted therapy. While some patients have found success using ibogaine as therapy for treatment-resistant disorders like substance use and PTSD, others have used the transformative power of ibogaine for personal development and other psychological issues.

Safety is paramount at Beond. The clinic takes potential health concerns seriously, and has developed specialized safety protocols that ensure each patient receives care tailored to their specific health needs. The growing visibility and interest in ibogaine comes as drug overdose deaths continue to surge to new highs in the U.S. Nearly 108,000 people fatally overdosed in 2021, with about two-thirds of those deaths involving opioids, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Beond is committed to making ibogaine treatment affordable and accessible for patients of all financial backgrounds, including those who may not be able to afford conventional addiction rehab or treatment programs. A typical treatment stay at Beond costs approximately one-third (or less) of most standard in-patient drug and alcohol treatment programs. While ibogaine therapy is not yet covered by health insurance, Beond can refer clients to private unaffiliated companies that may offer financial assistance for qualified clients.
